Canyon Lake is incredible! It's beautiful pristine water is beyond compare. Folks enjoy sailing, kayaking, water skiing, fishing, tubing, swimming or just sunning on the boat. But did you know that Canyon Lake is home to the Heritage Museum of the Texas Hill Country where there are prehistoric fossils, dinosaur prints, and more? Another fun activity minutes away is tubing down the Guadalupe River on a lazy sunny afternoon.
#2: Super Close Proximity to New Braunfels
A short drive away, is New Braunfels' world famous Schlitterbahn Water Park, Landa Park and Natural Bridge Caverns, activities that are fun for children of all ages. Gruene, Texas (down the street from New Braunfels) provides venues for great live music, dancing and festivals.
#3: A Short Drive to San Antonio
If you want more to do and see, drive a short forty-five minutes to San Antonio, and enjoy a number of sights and activities such as the River Walk, the Alamo, Fiesta Texas, Seaworld, the San Antonio Zoo, and the Japanese Tea Gardens just to name a few.
